1)see if your control is set up on a schedule from the previous owner. 2) for power, see if one of your GFI plugs flipped. They’re like mini breakers

I would start with calling your HVAC guy to do a full service on your heating and cooling system. You should clean your heating and cooling yearly.

Make sure to plug in directly to outlets and unplug before you leave the house or go to sleep and DO NOT plug into a power strip.

Check the GFI plugs in the house. Hit all the reset buttons. Sometimes the breaker is flipped there and not at the fuse box. Good luck!
