@stealth_health_life: Replying to @andrewomaygott The Psychological Impact of Food Most people focus on the physical impact of food, but ignore the psychological If you spend any time on social media consuming nutrition content - you’ll notice something very quickly There are people with PHD’s, MD’s, and every educational accolade that exists - on completely opposite ends of nutrition debates. Some will tell you that you should eat an entirely plant-based diet, some will say you should eat an entirely meat based diet, some will tell you to entirely remove carbs, some will tell you seed oils are the cause of all the health issues facing our population This creates an extraordinarily confusing challenge for anyone trying to get healthier, lose weight, and create a better version of themselves through nutrition  My philosophy is simple: the nutritional approach that will ultimately change your life, is the approach that psychologically resonates with you the most This is why you see people with incredible success that are “feeling their best” following a carnivore diet and others finding the exact same success following a plant-based diet - even though they’re in direct opposition to each other The diet that psychologically resonates with you the most creates a cascade of change in your lifestyle, and is also the diet you’re most likely to sustain over the long term For me - every form of elimination diet created an unfulfilling challenge in my life, and made me feel worse, perform worse, and ultimately - look worse My nutritional approach is built around the foundations of nutrition - calorie control, and optimized macro-nutrient intake The "Stealth Health" Approach: - Take your favorite foods & slightly adjust ingredients and ratios to improve macro-nutrient profile and reduce calories - Prioritize protein at every meal (~30g+) - MODERATE fat content (do not completely remove) - Avoid removing entire food groups/macro-nutrients This approach has created a sense of freedom around food that previously didn’t seem possible if I wanted to reach my health and fitness goals The best diet is one you enjoy 🙏 #stealthhealth #nutrition #weightloss #flexibledieting #highproteinrecipes
