Chris Rock is finally taking responsibility for the mistakes that contributed to the end of his 18-year marriage. And his latest confession reveals a side of his personal life he says he is not proud of. In a new interview with GQ for its Men of the Year feature, the 61-year-old comedian openly discussed why his marriage to Malaak Compton-Rock fell apart. "I was not a great husband," he admitted. Chris revealed that his p*rn obsession became a serious issue during their relationship. He also acknowledged that he was unfaithful with three different women, admitting that he failed to listen and show kindness to his wife. "I watched a lot of p*rn. I don't watch p*rn anymore. I haven't watched p*rn in five, six years," he revealed. The comedian described that period as a painful lesson that humbled him and forced him to confront his own behavior. Chris and Malaak married in 1996 and welcomed two daughters, Lola, 24, and Zahra, 22. They separated in 2014, and their divorce was finalized in 2016. Despite their difficult history, the former couple reunited in May to celebrate their daughter's graduation from the University of Southern California. Chris has since moved forward with his romantic life and is currently dating Simone Henault. Looking back, the comedian appears to recognize that fame and success cannot replace the effort required to maintain a marriage.
