sooooo. my keyboard & mouse stop working. stuff freezes. I get about 1.5 seconds untill it freezes. safemode Bassicly turned windows off

Binary chop the services to minimise your time: Disable all. If it boots, enable half and reboot. If it fails, disable half of what's enabled. If it boots, enable half what's disabled. Repeat 👍

I recently had that problem too. All my msconfig services were accidentally disabled. I couldn’t boot at all then had to find my bollocked key and reinstall a local copy of windows. Works fine now

a system file maybe corrupt, just open the comand prompt and type sfc /scannow, that will do it.
