I just in Kyoto, it was my 1st time and travelling alone. Everything was so easy, as long as u read the sign. Read the sign people, its in ENGLISH.

Use google maps for trains. It tells you the times, platforms exits and everything else you may need 😊

Taxis with the Uber app is the way to go in Kyoto. We got so much done in one day. Quick and not expensive. Went from arashiyama to kinkakuji, to nishiki, to kiyomizu and everything in between.

oh no I'm going to Tokyo in May and gonna visit Kyoto and Osaka in one day, now I'm thinking twice , probably go to Kyoto spend the day there , next day spend half the day in Osaka and go back Tokyo

Kyoto is one of my favorite city in Japan. I’m so glad I spent 3 days in Kyoto in my last trip. If I will ever have a Kansai trip again I will spend less time in Osaka and more time in Kyoto
