I use a slicker brush and then a comb to get all of those knots out 🐾 pH-balanced shampoo - A gentle shampoo can allow you to bathe your puppy more than once a month. Dilute the shampoo and conditioner to save time and money. 🛁 Ear cover for blowdryer - my dog hates the sound. So I put a little wrap on his head to block out the noise. This was the first time Knox let me get near him with a dryer. ✨SO important to blow dry doodles if you can. When you air dry, water can get trapped under the hair and tangle it. Africas Living Scar and the Place Where Earth and Humanity Were Shaped: Long before the first human took a step, before animals walked the land as we know them, and even before Africa looked the way it does today, the Earth itself was already moving. Nowhere else on land can humans see the Earth breaking apart so clearly. Over millions of years, volcanoes along the rift built some of Africas greatest mountains, including Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Kenya, and the Ethiopian Highlands. At the same time, deep valleys filled with rainwater and rivers, forming long, narrow lakes such as Lake Tanganyika, Lake Malawi, and Lake Turkana. Some of these lakes are among the oldest and deepest on Earth, holding ancient forms of life found nowhere else. Hot springs, geysers, and steaming ground still show that the Earth beneath the Rift Valley is alive. The Rift Valley did more than reshape the land—it reshaped life itself. As the ground rose and fell, climates changed. Thick forests slowly turned into open grasslands. Animals had to adapt, and so did early human ancestors. Trees became fewer, and walking on two legs became more useful than climbing. Standing upright allowed early humans to see farther, move more efficiently, and use their hands in new ways. This is why the Great Rift Valley is often called the birthplace of humanity. Volcanic ash regularly covered the land, quickly burying bones, footprints, and tools. These layers acted like a natural safe box, preserving evidence for millions of years.
