For me, regardless of the challenges, I've never felt the need or want for a day apart from Michael. His constant gentle nature plays a big part in this, but I take great joy in being present and involved in his daily life, not missing a single precious moment or milestone — no matter how small or trivial it may seem. Ramping up all the love and goodness, particularly in his formative years, has been our top priority. This means ensuring that we are fully present at every stage of his young life — and not physically nor emotionally ‘away’.
