If you haven’t heard, there's a new Christopher Nolan movie coming out called The Odyssey, based on Homer's Odyssey - a story about a guy who spends years at sea trying to find his way home. If you can relate to that feeling of being a bit lost and trying to figure out what to do with your life, there's actually a really cool exercise called the Odyssey Plan that you should try. It comes from Stanford Business School and it's also in the book Designing Your Life. The idea is simple. You imagine your life taking three different paths. Path 1️⃣ - the default path. What does your life look like 5 years from now if you keep doing exactly what you're doing today? Path 2️⃣ - the alternative path. What if you're not allowed to take that path and you have to do something completely different? What does life look like in 5 years? Path 3️⃣ - the radical path. What if paths 1 and 2 are both closed off, and you don't care about money or what other people think? What does your life look like then?
