@jessicanakole33: Replying to @22andlaur I did try to get help from 3 nurses, all sitting on their chairs talking to one another. I gladly would have watched this nurse reattach the connection so in the future, I could see how they did it. My goal today is to go to work and ask a nurse if I can watch them put a pure wick on thier patient. 💗 #healthcare #healthcareworker #radiology #radiologytiktok #nurses #nursesoftiktok #xray #xraytech #healthcareheroes #radtechstudent #xraystudent #nursingstudent #makeup #figs #figsscrubs #hospital
The person who made that comment already tells you what kind of person they are and the fact they are a nurse too, scary and sad.

As a nurse I think you did your best to find help and those other nurses clearly didn’t care to just help you for one second. That is a lack on them. I always offer to help anyone that asks me.

It’s not your job to help them. If they have a purewick, they likely aren’t supposed to be out of bed. So no, you shouldn’t just take them to the

I’m an X-ray tech too but I don’t think it’s my place to start doing nursing care. What if something goes wrong? I’m not trained or allowed

There are some wonderful nurses out there but there are some terrible nurses too. The commenter knows what you’re talking about. They’re probably offended because they’re someone who chit chats 🤨

Those nurses were wrong for not helping the patient, and I can say that because I’m a nurse. And I’m not offended by your frustration. You’re right

As someone whose mother spent a lot of time in the hospital before she passed I really appreciate you speaking out on this. Thank you for caring!♥️

As techs we have 100 other patients to do. We can’t just stop and do nurse duties when there are nurses available. Imaging would be delayed and that’s not fair to other patients.

as a CNA, you don't get report on the patient like we do. so you have no clue of any ambulation problems. so yea not in your scope of practice.

It’s against hospital policies to do things that are not in your scope of practice. you tried to help by acknowledging and letting the nurses kno👏
