Crispy skin coated in honey glaze, tender and juicy inside! Easy enough for beginners with an air fryer ✨ 🌼 Ingredients ▪️ One whole three-yellow chicken (or deboned chicken thighs) ▪️ Garlic, ginger, scallions ▪️ Light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, cooking wine, honey 🍯 ▪️ Black pepper, white sesame seeds 👩🏻‍🍳 Method (just 4 simple steps!) 1️⃣ Marinate the chicken: Tenderize the chicken with the back of a knife and poke holes ・2 tbsp light soy sauce + 2 tbsp dark soy sauce + 1 tbsp cooking wine + 1 tbsp honey + 1 tbsp sugar ・Ginger, scallions + black pepper Mix well and marinate for two hours ⏳ (the longer the better) 2⃣️ Prep for roasting: Stuff the chicken cavity with apple chunks / onion (adds aroma) Tie the drumsticks with kitchen twine to hold shape Brush the surface with a honey-oil mixture
