So, do not implement anything. Just import. That makes sense. But not for the coding interview.

Quite sure if ur asked to do a queue or stack in a coding interview u can't just import a solution someone else wrote. They want to see how YOU do it

Fun fact. It basically doesn’t matter anymore except for huge arrays for most languages if they don’t have a dedicated container.

Does no-one use LIFO and FIFO anymore? The Queue class in .NET is used for FIFO and there's Stack for LIFO.

I just make my own using a doubly linked list

Used deque before.. I was storing bit streams, and needed to section off the stack when preambles appeared.. very fast.

um akchtually 🤓 queue is actually usually implemented with a circular array and table doubling, but usually taught as a linked list

I didn’t know pop(0) was o(n), thanks. Always wondered why bother I’d bother with a deque

RK :
what if you just teach everyone how to do linked list implementation of stack deques queues etc

please dont use linked list for this, use some sort of circular buffer / array

Ah yes the millions entries queue where this still doesn’t matter.

I thought in queue you prepend not append ?
