@5dollardinners: COOK DINNER WITH ME - Firecracker Salmon Love how simple this sauce is to make and the amazing way it glazes itself onto the salmon fillets. Make this on your next salmon dinner night. Also, I always pair more expensive proteins like salmon with simple rice and frozen veggies for sides to keep overall meal costs as low as possible. SAVE this post - recipe below! FIRECRACKER SALMON RECIPE
1 lb. salmon fillet, cut into 4 pieces Salt and pepper 3/4 cup chili sauce 2 Tbsp soy sauce 1 tsp minced garlic 1 tsp minced onion 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
Side: veggies Side: rice
Directions
Make Instant Pot Sticky Rice (see “Cooking Lessons HIGHLIGHT” above!)
Preheat the oven to 400 F. In a mixing bowl, stir together the chili sauce, soy sauce, minced garlic, minced onion, and crushed red pepper. Cut salmon filet into 4 pieces. *PRO TIP: Ask the seafood counter to cut the fillet into the pieces you want! Place in a small baking dish and season with salt and pepper. Pour the prepared sauce over the top of the salmon, covering completely so it will glaze on while it bakes.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the salmon is no longer pink in the middle.
Warm up the veggies and add a touch of butter, salt and pepper. Serve Firecracker Salmon with veggies and rice. #dinner #DinnerIdeas #cookdinnerwithme #CDWM #cookdinnerwitherin #moneysavinghacks #cookdinnerathome #spendlessondrivethru
