But breaking down the components, it would cost significantly cheaper. LMNT uses 1,000 sodium chloride, which is literally table salt. You probably already have it in your kitchen. $0.005. Half a cent. That’s how much the sodium in LMNT would cost you in the exact form they use. 200mg potassium chloride would cost you $0.01. And 20mg of magnesium would cost you about $0.028, so basically 3 cents. 4.5 cents. That’s how much the electrolytes cost in LMNT.
