i always use air hammer with point bit, drive it in and turn it...and repeat.

did that with a cat hydraulic filter one time that was stuck on and it spun the outter shell off of the filter and couldn't get the part off that

I did that on a 7.3 powerstroke and some how punctured the seals in the oil cooler 😂 had to rebuild it afterwards
