I lived there for two years and personally I loved Waianae 😅 best Taco Bell on island was over there. Plus Makaha beach & electric (idk the local name for electric beach tho)

Ik locals hate Waianae but that’s always where I stay bc all my dad’s family lives there. They are Hawaiian and I’ve got some dirty looks from other Hawaiians when I said my family lives in Waianae

I do not recommend going snorkeling without making sure of the tides or ripe tides. A lot of tourists go snorkeling without the knowledge of the ocean so if you can talk with the life guards b4 swim
