@woodcitylimits: These moments that our son Blaze shares with his grandpa are truly heartwarming. When Mark and I found out that we were having a boy we were ecstatic as you can imagine. When we shared the news with the rest of the family, Pa Pa could hardly contain himself. It was almost like he knew they were destin to be best buds. The baby stages were really terrifying for him, but when Blaze reached the age that he was crawling he was ready to take him under his wing. I love this for them. Now that Blaze is older he can tell us when he wants to see him, and we make all the effort to make it happen. These past couple of years were very stressful for us all, my father in -law had open heart surgery and it really shook us all. We are so grateful to still have him here with us, and we thank God everyday. Things have gotten somewhat back to the way they use to be. Blaze really tries to make his grandpa feel better. He’s always two steps behind him following him around, and taking naps together is there favorite pass time. I love how my in- laws want to be involved in our children lives and willingly show up. I pray that Blaze and his grandfathers bond will continue to flourish.
