Very interesting. My wedding MUA used Hada Labo Koi-Gokujyun UV White Gel SPF 50+ PA++++ under my makeup for my wedding pics. My makeup had never lasted so well. He also recommends not using primer with sunscreen. I have been using this sunscreen for years without issue. I am prone to rosacea so many sunscreens, and anything with fragrance or citrus etc, irritates my skin. I have fair skin, prone to burning and Hada Labi sunscreen has worked well to protect from sun damage when in direct sunlight, provided I reapply every 3 hours. My only issue is that I wish it were in a tube or bottle, instead of a tub.

on my super important days I just choose not to wear sunscreen. I’d choose skin c4ncer for photos over a patchy skin 😭😭😭😭😭. still on the search for a sensitive friendly workable sunscreen 😭😭

I am using beauty of joeson spf 50 and i use mac studio fix compact for daily use, OMG it looks horrible aftersometimes, looks very cakey । so I don't know what Am I going to do।

This is exactly why I no longer wear foundation. I use plenty of tinted sunscreen and it turns out I look so much better.

I’m not as sensitive to Asian chemical sunscreens as you. For me biore UV aqua and roundlab don’t pill, but I only do very light no makeup looks

I’ve had this gripe about sunscreen forever. No one wants to admit the fact that 1) sunscreen is often the one skincare/health product that has major side effects for many people, enough that many people struggle with the task of applying an irritating substance to their skin daily, knowing it causes some level of harm and 2) there’s a reason you rarely see a sunscreen as a step in a pro makeup artist’s look. But as for the side effects, people act as if admitting sunscreen can be a triggering irritating substance, and something that causes any amount of harm, is an admission that you’re “anti-sunscreen” or denying its preventative importance. I’m tired of the gaslighting, two things can exist at the same time—sunscreen preventing skin cancer and photoaging and sunscreen having other harmful health effects that many struggle with on a daily basis! I’ve tried them all—even the gentlest Korean and Japanese formulas. The decision to put on sunscreen. Every day is a wild card for me with SPF—could be no problem, could be burning eyes, burning rhinitis, burning migraine.
