I just ordered dreds. 90cms. they are ones with like a loop at one end. and you have to like thred your hair through it then braid but are yours easier to install?? I feel like I'm gonna have trouble

so instead of braiding, the long dread like I’ve seen does doing it this way help with slippage. Does it help secure them more than just braiding down the long side??
