At whirlpool I got 10 weeks bed rest, 6weeks post partum and another 10 weeks after. It was a full term stillborn. It was all paid. Plus corporate covered the headstone costs. They were good to me.

When I worked at Amazon, I got 4 weeks pre partum, 10 weeks post partum, and 6 weeks bonding, being there less than a year! Ridiculous that a baby company can’t work with her as a new parent.

I don't know I'm shocked the US has dreadful maternity laws why would it halve adoption leave. In the UK you get Statutory Adoption Leave for 52 weeks.
