A huge contributor of this is isolation. Much of us Millenials don't have family who contribute. YOU are the kids entire world, guitingly so.

I have a mom friend that is constantly asking me and my 2 year old to every activity, community event, etc and I'm over here like, let's take a breather and just let them color for a little bit 😅

Always be there for them, just not right on top of them. They will learn better by doing. If you don’t mess up, your not learning.
