@cookinginthemidwest: Cheesesteak Sandwiches are easy to make and so good! 🔥 INGREDIENTS 1 1/2 lbs ribeye steak Salt, pepper, garlic powder Steak Seasoning 1 onion 4 tbsp butter 2 green peppers Provolone cheese slices Cheese Whiz 4 hoagie rolls Mayo INSTRUCTIONS Thinly slice steak and set aside. Thinly slice an onion and 2 green peppers. Spread hoagie rolls with mayo. Heat a skillet over medium high heat and quickly toast the hoagie rolls. Once rolls are toasted remove them from the pan and set aside. Add 2 tbsp of butter to the skillet. Cook peppers and onions seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder until tender. Remove them from the pan and set aside. Cook steak in the hot skillet and add 2 more tbsp of butter if needed. Season steak with some steak seasoning. Once steak is cooked to your liking add the peppers and onions back to the skillet. Top skillet with provolone cheese. Stir together steak, veggies, and melted cheese. Spread cheese whiz on the toasted hoagie rolls. Stuff hoagie rolls with the steak mixture. Top with more provolone cheese and place sandwiches in a baking dish or sheet pan and bake at 400 for just a few minutes to melt the extra cheese.
