One thing I have said to my GP when he said I didn’t need thyroid lab work because I “looked normal” is “I’d like it documented that you declined testing me in my record”. Then he ordered the test.

My stomach hurt so bad. OB said it was normal. Had a placental abruption a few hours later. Had a complete previa. 29 weeks. NICU etc. She’s 24 now & thriving but almost lost us both

I've never been pregnant, but I've also been very frustrated with OBGYNs dismissing concerns. I haven't had the same problem with other specialties.
