I'm 32, my parents never actively tried to entertain me growing up, this whole idea of keeping your kids from being bored EVER is so crazy to me and I feel like it just creats dependence on others

As a Finnish 90's kid I've been finding it weird how much I see these childrens activities. I guess my mum occasionally gave us activities but they were always simple stuff like let's paint together.

I am cuban. We just followed adults and did daily activities with them according to our age and capabilities. Kitchen stuff, cleaning, errands, etc.
