@herbifoods: Buttery fall apart cabbage 🔥🤤 ⠀ Cabbage is a fantastic winter vegetable that can easily become the star on your table! Don’t believe me? Try this recipe 😉 ⠀ RECIPE (6-8 portions) - 1 medium-small head cabbage - salt - oil to fry ⠀ - 80 g vegan butter (or olive oil) - 4 tbsp tomato paste - 4 garlic cloves - 1 tsp ground coriander - 1/2 tsp oregano - 1 tsp red pepper flakes - 1.5 cups water ⠀ To serve: - rice - vegan labneh - fresh parsley or cilantro ⠀ ❶ Preheat oven to 160°C. ❷ Cut the cabbage into wedges. ❸ Fry wedges in a hot pan with a generous pinch of salt and oil until caramelized from both sides. If necessary work in batches. ❹ Mix all ingredients for the tomato butter, then spread onto the cabbage. Add water to the pan or baking dish, then bake without a lid for 45-60 minutes until most of the water has evaporated and the cabbage is soft and caramelized. ❺ Serve on vegan labneh or some rice with fresh herbs such as parsley or cilantro.
