my niece doesnt recognise me if I wear makeup. last christmas, she wouldn't go with me to the toilet, because I had makeup on, and I was wearing a nice dress. I see her quote regularly, but I don't wear makeup on day to day, and I usually have more slouchy, comfortable clothes, not like a fancy dress. she was so scared of me because I looked so different to her. my mom also wore nice clothes for christmas and my niece was very confused how that can be grandma, but she did get over the clothes a lot quicker than the makeup.
