Bray Wellness Studio :
why would it not be safe to leave the worm in with the tarantula?

it might be getting ready to molt! if it doesnt eat tomorrow its probably best to leave it alone for a couple of days :)

slings are also known as scavengers so you could kll the worm and leave it in there for a day or so. maybe it's still full from last meal :)

Tip! When a spood covers up its burrow, it usually means it’s going to molt soon and to not feed! And I always crush the head of mealworms before too

I squish the meal worm heads a little so they still move a little but can’t get lost in the substrate.

it could be I'm premolt, if it doesn't take any food leave it for at least a week, leaving the mealworm I'm there should be fine too so don't worry

Sometimes they’re just finicky and don’t want to eat, with mealworms I usually crush or cut the head first

My best advice for one like this especially burrowed is I crush the head of the meal worm and leave over night and most of the time the little spood takes it to its burrow over night
