How does this work for Geothermal units, no outside condenser? Does aux heat help with heating?

my aux comes on automatically. Usually not steady just for a little help and when it's about -4 or lower

Most modern heat pumps will work down to 0 degrees F. Our Trane a 2021 model is set at 20 degrees and it does great since we are on TVA and propane
