your house has to be in level too, im living in a house setteled more than 8 inches to one side, cant use leveling compound

I tend to use spray foam around the walls to make a seal. Also another tip that helped me was use your laser mark depth with screws so you know what area need more and pour

i used aluminum foil tape. and went up the wall as if it were baseboard. and later you just cover it with baseboard

Always scary pouring upstairs , literally go over board and seal everything , floor to walls , vents , plywood joints , toilets , tubs you name it!

a cheap garden sprayer to spray primer. Much easier and full coverage.
