@myhorsewillow: Yesterday I sat on Oakley for the very first time! This doesn’t mean I’m going to start riding him but this moment needs a spot here for the memories 🙌 After a little ride on Willow with @sammys.ark and Oakley free alongside us, we went for a swim after and this just happened. I laid on his back in the deeper water then just stayed on as he walked to shallower and he just could not have cared less. No lead rope, no reins, no nothing, - he’s the most amazing little baby horse and I still kind of can’t believe it happened! He was just happy to get scratches! I always dreamt I would one day just slide onto his back and it would be no big deal so this was literally a dream come true ❤️ He’s definitely starting fill outwards lately instead of just going up in height so I can not wait to see what he looks like by the end of the year! We still have a lot of building blocks to put into place before I start riding him and I also want him to fill out a lot more - but in the meantime, this 1 minute sit is a HUGE achievement for us both ❤️ #horse #horses #horseriding #horsestarting #palomino #horselife #horselife #equestrian #waterhorse
