I would have stopped instantly and soaked entire carb in carb cleaner then tried removing jet.

If you have to mark the bowl. You are not to smart. It has an indentation where the float sits.

that carb bowl is non-positional. turn to drain bolt convenient!

You can leave the jet in and strip a bread tie to poke down in there to get the build up out

once you realize it's stuck - remove the float and needle - apply carb cleaner and heat - then gently try to remove

We put them in the ultrasonic to loosen up the jet. Or vise it and shock it loose. Easy way to get it out intact to clean out.

Remove floater..use small pencil gas torch..give smooth heat.Aluminium expands lot and fast👍
