@stephvnietea: Do you ever crave anything you’ve never had? These Tanghulu videos got me in a chokehold and I had to satisfy the craving 😩 ➡️ Recipe: Tanghulu Servings: 10-15 skewers - [ ] 2 cups sugar - [ ] 1 cup water - [ ] Skewer sticks - [ ] Ice water bath (for soaking) Any assortment of fruits - [ ] Strawberries - [ ] Grapes - [ ] Tangerines - [ ] Dragon fruit - [ ] Blueberries - [ ] Blackberries 1. Wash, pat dry, and cut all of the fruits into bite sized pieces. Skewer the fruit. 2. In a pan/pot. Heat sugar and water on medium-high heat. Leave untouched for 20-25 mins. If you stir it, it will crystallize and you don’t want that. 3. Test if candy is hard enough by sticking a skewer into the sugar, dunking it into water for a couple of seconds and if the sugar is hard to the touch like candy and isn’t sticky, it’s ready. If using a candy thermometer, the sugar should be heated to 250-260F. 4. Turn heat down to low heat so sugar doesn’t burn. 5. Carefully dunk fruits into the sugar. Roll it around until everything is coated. Carefully shake off excess sugar. Then immediately dunk the entire skewer into the ice bath. Repeat with all skewers. 6. Let extra water drip off then leave it on baking sheet before serving. 7. Enjoy right away! #tanghulu #candy #EasyRecipe #fruit #Recipe
