@jessicaolie: I don’t know how to explain it but my best friend called it grief hair when I said I wanted to chop it off. And that’s exactly how it feels. It made the most sense. It’s hard to explain. Maybe it’s a way to shift the energy and let go. Maybe it’s something else. But whatever it is, it feels like a small step in our healing journey.
