@katiestatonfitness: My swim training ⬇️ (aka being a happy lil🐬) Don’t get me wrong I CAN NOT WAIT to lace up my trainers and RUN butt I’ve actually got into the flow of swimming and enjoying a new challenge and seeing so much improvement it’s so fun (I encourage you to mix it up and try a new activity for a couple weeks too👀👏) But I’ve been swimming 3x per week with the aim to just maintain my aerobic base (aka keep my fitness levels at a base line) while I’ve been unable to run for the last 10 weeks! ✨ My swim sessions⬇️ I typically swim for 30-45 mins a time and ngl I make it up before I get in BUT I set a target for that session! And aim to do one of my sessions with a few intervals included to get my HR up more! Otherwise they are typically a steady paced 2km - 2.3km swim! 🐬✨ If your new and wanna try it go to a pool and set a target to do 30 lengths! What injury do u have if u don’t mind me asking? I’m injured from football as I have a cyst trapping nerves on my spine so I have to do strength and conditioning for my back 😭
