Not a good tip for an apprentice. When the plasterboard is against the wall it’ll miss the stud!

Always work 380 or 580mm as your first centre from the blockwork depending on whether it’s a bathroom or not. That way it’ll always work for the plasterers and save you an argument with them 👍🏻

i put corners and doorways in first. then use a spacer for studs. also use spacer as template for noggins 👍

makes no difference as the plasterer will start in the middle and put the cuts against the wall

Centre first stud 1200 off wall checking if wall is out of plumb and work both sides of that stud!
