@norasmacarons: What do you think of this egg separating contraption? From the time I started making macarons, my least favorite job has been separating eggs. I start thinking about the yolks becoming chickens, and then separating them from the one thing that protected them, and now they are going to get whipped to a stiff peak without any consideration for their feelings. Then I realize, egg whites don't have feelings... and I power through the few eggs left and move on to making beautiful macarons! Anyways, separating eggs is hard for me. There are lots of different tools, and hacks out there to help you. I've tried them all! Whenever I am separating a large amount, I love to use this huge contraption. It was gifted to me by a friend who is a boss macaron maker, and unfortunately, I haven't been able to find one that compares in quality to this one. It isn't perfect, and sometimes we exchange some not so pleasant words with each other, but I still love it, and I love making videos using it. The next thing you'll want to know, "What do you do with your yolks?" There are so many uses for yolks, I won't spend the time listing them here, but maybe in the comments we can start talking about what you do with your yolks. These yolks were specifically used for an omelet bar that I had with some of my friends. Great use for egg yolks!!! Tell me what do you think of this thing? And what are you using your yolks for?
