Actuary here, entry level jobs are very competitive, but not hard if you're willing to move. There are around 10 exam in total right now, each can take 300-400 hours of studying.

Actuaries make good money after 3-4 years. My friend started $67 TC year 1 and year 4 makes $200k+ TC (100k salary + 100k+ profit share). Super lucrative if your company has profit sharing
