my 20 month old follows directions but still talks in gibberish or just mom, dad, baba, dog, no, nana, hohoho (santa lol). plus sounds like “shhh” or clicking his tongue.

my little girl is almost 19months and says like 70 words. Puts 2 words together, can count to 3, knows body parts and knows animal sounds 🥰

My almost 16 month old isn’t doing any of this, have taken him to a speechie in qld but they discharged him because he is at least makes sounds. We were told that kids won’t start to speak properly
