@dieterpey: Would you drive this road? 🏕️ @baliesgat This is the driveway of Balie's Gat, as well as the working farm of the camping ground is situated on. It's roughly 3km in length and carved into the mountain as you descend into the valley below. The road can only be used in one direction at a time, as it is to narrow to pass another vehicle. Before you start your descent, you need to check for oncoming vehicles. Vehicles heading up this pass has the right of way. During the dry season this pass isn't a challenge as we easily made it down with a 4x2. In the winter it's a different monster and a 4x4 vehicle is recommended for safety. #mountainpass #landscape #camping
