If anyone has ever thought that the giant overhead lights in public school didn’t flicker. They literally must be blind. They drove me insane.

I equally despise how I can see my bulbs fade off after flipping the switch. They don’t just turn off. The led ones have a low glow for 5-10 seconds

I hate this knowledge. It perhaps explains why I hate turning light on though.

flicker-free bulbs don't exist anymore. even if they say flicker-free it's just reduced flicker. it's a marketing term now.

THANK YOU ITS NOT JUST ME? I can see the flickering of led lights and people think I'm crazy! your led bulb is dying because the flicker is bad

Speaking as an electrician, most lights and homes are running on AC. AC means alternating current, so for a split of a .1m/s there is a break in current hence why you can let go after being energized.

It’s usually LED lights that flicker, and the older kind (can’t remember what they’re called) don’t. I can see the LEDs flicker but my parents can’t.

I just switched all my lights to smart lights and for some reason they don't flicker at all, and they are voice controlled as a bonus.👍😁
