You can bend your arm 😭 they use flex needles so you can have an if for days at a time I’ve made the same mistake before

I just had a baby and they put my IV in the bend of my right arm and it was the worst! Imagine having contractions and in so much pain and the thing..

You can bend your arm the needle isn’t in your arm. They stab your arm with the needle to put the tub in and then the needle comes out

You can use/bend the arm! Just don’t keep it completely folded/bent in at the elbow for too long as it may stop the meds flowing!

There’s a way better vein on the side of your arm near your thumb. Nice a straight area and you can use your phone no problem. It’s my favourite spot
