@katienails2: detailed steps below 👇🏻🪩 First you paint your whole nail and do not cure it. You will use a magnet shifting the gel to create the effect you want. If you can no longer see the shimmer, you can easily bring it back by angling your magnet on the side of your nail and moving it in. To create an French tip look you will bring all of the shimmer to the middle. Then you will take a small magnet and move up. For reverse French you will angle it down to the base of your nail. Once you have the gel the way you like you will cure it and then top coat it. Other tips: The bigger the magnet the more the gel will shift. I like to use a bigger one because I find I am able to move it where I want quicker. However if you are wanting to create a design like reverse French tips or French tips then you will use the small one to do it like this. You can play around with the gel as much as you want just be careful about it flooding your cuticles. If that happens just wipe it off with a lint wipe and acetone and start over.
