the dentists use water with a scaler, and these don't have water, so prob not good to use for too long. or have your dog drink water as well while doing it. so the teeth don't heat up.

How do you do the button back teeth while the dog clothes the mouth and the top back teeth cover the button back teeth to see and to do?

1. No water causes heat, which causes unnecessary friction and can cause the tooth to die. 2. You have to POLISH afterwards to ensure there is a smooth surface on the tooth preventing bacteria.

Those are not the best to be using. it’s VERY bad for them to ingest all the nasty guck… And they should be used with water just so it doesn’t overheat. in vet med we rinse the guck out when done..
