Adding onto this in engineering we had theoretical lectures and mathematical lectures because it was too much to have a 3hr lecture so it was split into two 90min lectures for each of the concepts

at my uni the in person lectures seem to be a thing of the past as a majority are exclusively online and the lecture halls barely even get used
