I don’t think people realize how often kids master a concept and are stuck waiting for the rest of the class. Homeschooling goes at individual pace and ends up taking less time.

It doesn’t take long because there is so many distractions, transition, pure wasted time. I work in a school and a lot of the kids are leaving to homeschool because they get more done in less time.
