I’m must be a shippy mom cuz I’m very up front with my kids. There’s very little I keep from them. This is real ship out here, train them young so they’re not just slapped in the face with adulting. People need to stop sheltering these kids. That’s why my generation is SO lazy. They’re in Lala land.

I get what you're saying, but I grew up w/ that type of blind to any struggle lifestyle. When struggle hit me as an adult, I wasn't prepared. There's middle ground that gives empathy and understanding
