When I had appendicitis I was vomiting and hurting so bad.. but it was also taken out right before rupturing.

They don’t keep the needle in the IV!! It’s just the bendy tube after they’re done!

I had appendicitis when I was 5 and spent almost a whole month in the hospital before I got an appendectomy ! Love how far medicine has come

So wild how far technology has come. I had mine out emergently in 2005 and had to stay for 3 days in the hospital bc it wasn’t laparoscopic yet 😅

I had appendicitis for 2 yrs before they would take mine out.

My appendix ruptured May 1st, I was in the hospital hooked up to IV antibiotics for four days. June 23rd colonoscopy showed cancer, which had been detected in CTscan on the 1st.

I got my appendix out and it was so close to bursting and my white cell count was high after surgery that I had to stay for 3 days 🫠
