@epicgardening: PEANUTS - This is a plant that Kevin has struggled to grow for many years...in fact, he even hid a video on his channel called "My Pathetic Peanut Harvest" in which he grew 5 peanuts and roasted them in a small kid's size cast iron pan. It was a sad day. HOWEVER! @jacquesinthegarden pulled off a nutty harvest, so at least someone on the team has cracked these weird plants. Not actually a nut, but a legume, peanuts produce a flower that shrivels, becomes a "peg", and that peg plows itself into the ground, where the "nut" forms. It's one of the weirdest ways we've seen a plant grow, at least one that's commonly eaten. To succeed with these plants, you really want a nice long growing season full of hot days. More coming this season as we try to beat our peanut harvest from last year!
