@david_whitton: Replying to @hector.marrr Here's why⬇️ Adding more volume is not likely to improve your rate of gain for a specific body part. What will happen is you'll overwork them, increase the amount of muscle damage you acrue (which is bad) and potentially reduce the rate of gain. The best way to prioritise a muscle group is through exercise order. When you train a muscle at the start of your session, you are much more able to recruit motor units (and therefore able to lift more and progressively overload). The ability to recruit motor units slowly declines throughout the session as fatigue builds up, so program your sessions in order of priority. This, combined with good execution and nutrition will blow your delts up. If you want the guesswork taken out and have your progress ensured, drop me a message or fill in my Online Coaching application form 💙 #gym
