@_that_one_girlll_: Heart Monitor 101: Please bathe carefully & do NOT try & sweat during your wear time! I did an OOPSIES with my heart monitor the other night & no idea how, but I got water UNDER my lower electrode while taking a bath(note it was shallow & apparently idk how to bathe, no matter how careful I was🤣). SO I panicked & removed it with the adhesive remover pads(OWW) but the worst OWW were the breakouts that occurred & explained the tingling & itching that had been going on. When you first get your monitor, they take abrasive paper to “shave” your chest so the adhesive can properly adhere to your chest for your electrodes to sense your heartbeat correctly. Then they cleanse it with an alcohol prep pad, more OWW on freshly shaved skin. But between having sensitive skin, essentially razor burn, & agitating adhesvie plastered to my chest for a few days, I can see why there could be irritation🙃 #heartmonitor #heartproblems #heartcomplications #pain #breakouts #help #fyp #hearttok #zio #ziomonitor
