I landed in turin in 18 january from tia and like i felt the gear going down but i saw clouds and thought what is he doing, we felt turbulence and rhen we saw the runway, it was 5-10 meters visibility

Glide slope* I’m not aware of any calculations, we use checklists every time we fly, and first officers wouldn’t land a zero vis.

Well that red thing that is rotating does not transmit anything to the cockpit but the ATC, their is a glide slope antenna that actually transmits
